DIGITAL EXHIBITION ONLY: Call to Artists – Annual Earth Day Children’s Art Show: Web of Life

PLEASE NOTE: The on-site exhibition has been cancelled due to the temporary gallery closure in order to protect everyone’s health and safety during the Covid-19 outbreak.  However, we will be showcasing artwork and stories online, so if you have created artwork for this show, please email digital images and stories to or submit them through the website in order to be included in the digital exhibition.
Call to Artists:
This Earth Day, we invite the region’s youngest artists (up to age 12) to explore the variety of creatures that make up the Web of Life on our planet.  Artwork can explore local or foreign ecosystems, and can focus on individual plants or animals and their place in the great web of life, or on entire connected systems.

Open call gallery exhibition for children up to age 12.

The region’s youngest artists are invited to submit artwork to celebrate  EARTH DAY! Individual artists, groups and classes (school or rec centre) are encouraged to take part in this opportunity to show off your creativity.  This show will welcome a wide variety of work celebrating the connections that bind all of life on earth together.

Digital Exhibition Runs: April 15-26

Digital Image Deadline: April 8

Create paintings, drawings, sculptures from clay, or mix things up with various materials, then submit online on our website or via email at If you have an idea and aren’t sure if it fits, just email to check!  We are also happy to help you brainstorm, and with over 100 artist members, we have lots of ideas to share.
