The Coast Collective Gift Shop carries excellent quality original work by local artists in a full range of prices. For those who like a more personal connection, we supply background information about the work and the artist whenever possible. |
Information for Vendors:
- The Coast Collective Gift Shop operates on a co-operative basis, each vendor required to work several hours each month on behalf of the Shop or pay a substantial fee to participate.
- Artists are encouraged to bring work to do while manning the Shop, to demonstrate techniques to customers as well as being productive while there.
- In addition, a commission will be retained by the Gift Shop to cover overheads.
- All work must be the original work of the artist, based on his or her own designs or source material, or reproductions or cards produced from such work.
- Works carried will be juried, and only high quality, sophisticated, elegant pieces will be accepted.
- Preference will be given to work made from sustainable, local, and naturally sourced materials or ingredients.
- All work must be family-oriented, tasteful and inoffensive in the opinions of the adjudicators.
