Do you have any paintings, prints or other art in your attic or in the basement that you no longer love? Do you want to find a new home for it? We are looking for paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolours, charcoal, pastel and graphite depicting such things as florals, landscapes, abstract, portrait or everyday life. As well, we will accept stained glass, wall hangings, pottery, wood working, and sculptures. • Special Event: Sat & Sun – Feb 4 & 5, 12 to 5: First Annual Collective Art Garage Sale |
Art Gallery
The Coast Collective Gallery hosts juried themed shows of work by local artists, one-man and group shows.
Adjudication and hanging fees are kept low to provide an affordable venue for Fine Art.
Submissions for Open Call Shows are accepted any time prior to the application deadline for that show (see below) and Applications for Gallery Rentals are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please scroll down to the bottom of the page for documents with important information regarding General Submission Guidelines, Digital Images, File Naming and Resizing, etc. We are at present unable to receive shipments of artwork.

Showcase, Associates Show - Mar 14 – April 1, 2012 (3 weeks)
We've designed a new kind of art show to showcase the work of our Associate Members - fewer artists with more pieces each, so you can get a better appreciation of each artist's style. Participating artists will be selected 6 months prior to the show so that they have time to prepare new works. Thus the application deadline for this show is September 1, 2011 for the show that will take place in March 2012. If you or someone you know would like to participate, there is still time to join as an Associate Member before the deadline.
