Richard, a full-time professional wildlife artist and instructor from Victoria, has journeyed to Australia and back on an art residency, sharing his love of wildlife and passion for watercolour on Japanese art paper with everyone along the way.
You will learn a unique approach to watercolour as Richard guides you through his tried and true methods of creating pleasing imagery on Japanese art paper that’s entertaining, stress free and fully supported, using his signature style that’s a mix of Chinese brush, Eastern and Western ways of painting. Everyone will learn something. Beginners are encouraged! Bring a light lunch. (There are also a few fast food restaurants in the neighbourhood).
