Picture Perfect, but Private Property

Please contact Coast Collective before taking professional or large group photos on these grounds.

You may see this sign on the property.  We realize that Havenwood is a spectactular location to take photographs and we are happy to share it with people.  However, it does cost us to keep the grounds in picture perfect shape and there is a small charge for groups (i.e wedding parties, photography groups, etc.) to help offset those costs.

Thank you.

Come share a moment with us For a Tea Tasting

The First Thursday of each month, 2 to 4 pm. come and visit us at Coast Collective where you can sample a selection of Locally Blended Hot and Cold Organic Fair Trade Teas.
Hosted by Honestly –T of French Beach.
These Varieties are available in our the Gift Shop, including our Own Coast Collective and Havenwood.

Artist's Garage Sale

Sat & Sun, Feb 4 & 5, Noon - 5 pm

We'll be holding an "Artist's Garage Sale" on Saturday & Sunday, February 4 & 5, to help you move those things on to a new home, too.  ONLY art supplies may be sold at this event, but that may include:  brushes, pallet knives, frames, mats, watercolour paper, canvases, kits, books, paints, fabric, glass tools, carving tools - anything that can be used to make art.  You, or you and your friends, can rent a table for $10 for the 2 days - you man the table and handle all the sales.  Space is limited, and tables will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.  Or, if you would rather not deal with the sales, we'll gladly accept donations of art supplies to the Coast Collective, and keep the proceeds to help us pay the heating bills!  If you have larger items - priced over $25 - and would like us to handle the sales and share the proceeds, contact us and we'll see what we can work out (250-391-5522, info@coastcollective.ca).

Acres of Art
July 8, 2012, 11 - 4 pm

landart

On Sunday July 8 our grounds will once again be home for the wonderful Land Art of the Victoria Flower Arrangers Guild artists – huge displays of natural materials constructed on site.
The grounds will be graced by lovely ladies of Heritage Productions in period costumes, and dozens of artists will display and sell their work throughout the lovely gardens and pathways of the Coast Collective.
Plein Air Painters will be painting on site and showing their work in our special "Wet Canvas Show" – a special show only for works created completely within 5 hours at the festival (if you want to paint in Wet Canvas, look for a separate registration form for that event).
The Sir Winston Churchill Society of Vancouver Island will be present to provide information about Churchill, the man and the artist, as well as providing prize money for the Wet Canvas Show.
Local Animal Rescue groups will participate in our Festival of Animals as part of Acres of Art. We'll have music, food and beverages available.
